About Clarity Coast Window Washing
Built for Salt Air, Hard Water & Marine Haze
Clarity Coast Window Washing is a local team that cleans coastal glass with 0-TDS pure water, so salt film and hard water spots don't come back a week later.
Who We Are: A Local Window Cleaning Company
Clarity Coast is a window washing service based in San Clemente, CA, at 944 Calle Amanecer Park. We work as a lead-to-pro service: you book with us, and we connect you with a vetted, licensed and insured local pro who does the cleaning. Our focus is the glass problems this stretch of coast creates: the white salt film that settles on a beachfront home overnight, calcium deposits on Talega windows from sprinkler water that Santa Margarita Water District reports at about 15 grains per gallon, and the fine ash that coats exposed surfaces after a Santa Ana wind event.
We set the standard every matched pro has to meet. That means a deionized water system checked at 0 TDS before the job, a water-fed pole brush for exterior and upper-story glass so most homes need no ladders, and eco-friendly cleaning without harsh chemicals. It also means the tracks and sills and every screen get cleaned, not just the glass you see from the street. In rooms that had gone dim behind a salt film, the before and after is usually night and day once the natural light comes back in.
Who actually cleans my windows?
A vetted local window washing pro does. Clarity Coast is a lead-to-pro service: you call or request a quote with us, we confirm the scope and price, and we match you with a licensed and insured pro who works San Clemente glass and follows our 5-step pure water process. Before anyone is matched with homeowners, we check their license, insurance and equipment, including the deionized water setup. If anything about the visit falls short, you call us and we get it fixed.
What makes Clarity Coast different from other window washing companies?
The difference starts with the rinse water. A lot of window cleaners rinse with tap water, and San Clemente tap water is hard. When it dries on glass it leaves the white spots and haze that make a just-cleaned window look untouched. The pros we match you with finish every pane with deionized water filtered to 0 TDS (zero total dissolved solids), so there is nothing in the rinse to dry into a spot, and the result is streak-free without harsh chemicals or a soap smell left on the glass.
The second difference is how the outside glass gets reached. A water-fed pole brush works from the ground and feeds deionized water to the brush head while it scrubs off salt air film, marine haze, dust and spring pollen. On most two-story homes nobody has to lean a ladder against your gutters or fascia, which is safer for the pro and easier on the house.
The third difference is scope. A full-service visit covers the glass inside and out, plus screens, tracks and sills. Screens come out of the frame and are washed flat before going back in. Tracks are dry-cleared before any water touches them, then rinsed, and sills and frames get wiped. The visit ends with a walkthrough with you, and anything you are not happy with gets redone before the pro leaves.
Does Clarity Coast specialize in coastal glass maintenance?
Yes. Homes along the San Clemente, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano coast are the core of what we book. A Pier Bowl blufftop home fights sea spray and salt film, while a Talega home mostly fights sprinkler spots, and the marine layer leaves coastal haze on glass from the PCH Corridor to Forster Ranch. The pure water rinse exists for exactly this mix: it lifts the salt without leaving a new layer of tap-water spots behind.
The City of San Clemente's 2025 water report puts hardness at 14 grains per gallon for MWD water and 17 for water from the Baker plant. Anything above 10.5 gpg counts as very hard. Every irrigation cycle leaves a little more calcium and magnesium on your windows. Hard water stains that build up over several seasons of sprinkler overspray need a dedicated mineral treatment, and a standard wash will not move them. We assess for hard water deposits on every quote and treat them as a separate scope item when found, quoted and agreed before work begins. See the hard water stain removal page for the full explanation.
Our commitment to the community
We only take bookings in South Orange County: San Clemente, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano. Keeping the service area small lets us hold every matched pro to the same rules. They show up in the window you were given. They follow the 5-step pure water process on every job, even when it runs long. And if a hard water stain needs a separate treatment, they tell you so and quote it, instead of scrubbing at it with standard chemistry and calling it done.
You get one number to call for the whole job, before and after the visit. If a problem the pro was hired to fix shows up again because of how the work was done, call us and we send someone back to make it right at no charge. Many inland homes book a quarterly schedule, so problems show up fast if a pro cuts corners. If you are getting ready to sell, clean glass is cheap curb appeal. If you live above the Pier Bowl, the glass is the frame for your million dollar view.
The pure water system — why we built around it
The reason is simple chemistry. If the rinse water carries dissolved minerals, those minerals stay on the glass when it dries. Soap needs a second rinse, and a tap water rinse leaves hard water spotting. Deionized water has the dissolved solids stripped out by resin, and a TDS meter confirms it reads 0 before the job starts.
With nothing dissolved in it, the water evaporates without leaving a mark, even on west-facing glass in direct afternoon sun. That is also why the pros can let a pole-washed window air-dry instead of chasing it with a squeegee on the outside of a second story.
